Phew it's Friday

Well it has been a rather long week in the day job, and a jolly warm one too!I hope you've all been enjoying the sunshine.

Waaaaay back in April I went to a Stampin' Up! event which happen's twice a year called OnStage. I got to spend a couple of days with my lovely demonstrator friends, we chatted, crafted, got lots of news and update as well as getting our hands on some products from the new annual catalogue.

We all made a few cards using products from the new catalogue and today's card is one of them...

The card features the Rooted in Nature bundle of stamps and dies. It's a really versatile set that's going to rival lovely as a tree.

Dandelion Wishes

Happy Wednesday!

Today feels like a very long week and we're only half way through :-( clearly I need to set some more time aside to craft and cheer myself up!

Today I'm sharing with you a really quick card that I made using the gorgeous dandelion wishes stamp set. This one is already proving really popular. So much so I'll be running a class on the 18th August where the set is the focus of the class. You can sign up for the class here

Now you all know I love a quick card. You can make the background for the card using ink and a waterbrush or using some brushos. I've gone the easy route and used some of the delightfully detailed notecards and envelopes.

Something old and something new

Happy Monday!

How did you enjoy the Malawi blog? We managed to pack so much in to such a short visit. Hopefully I'll get to go back again one day and explore a bit more. I have so many photos and I've started putting my album together, so no doubt I'll share some photos of that in due course.

Today I'm bringing a couple of cards to you which uses some stamps from the new catalogue, but using up some of my retired paper and cardstock.

I love this stamp set, I was fortunate enough to receive it at On Stage back in April and I'm so glad that the catalogue is live so that you can get one too!

Malawi - Day 8

 

It’s 7am and we’re heading home. Having to leave the wonderful people of Malawi is heart wrenching. The events of the week catch up with us on the drive back to airport.

There are a few tears as we go our separate ways in Addis Ababa, we’ve all returned home with a lifetime of memories, some incredible friendships and dreaming of the days when we might be lucky enough to return to our piece of paradise.
