Autumn Winter Blog hop

Happy Saturday everyone!

We're hopping around the autumn winter catalogue today, so if all is going well you should have arrived here from Cat's blog

I have a couple of projects to share with you today. First up is a Christmas card using partridge and pears and blendibobs. A full supply list for both projects can be found at the bottom of this post

Today is my hubby's birthday, so here is the little gift card envelope I made using the fab new die and heavy weight DSP, Under the Tree, which has been designed with the gift box board in mind.

Better get back to the birthday celebrations. Tea, cake and feeding the ducks seems to be the order of play for today.

Happy hopping! Time to see what the oober fantabulous Diane has been up to.

Mint Chocolate Chip Birthday

Yesterday I had a jolly lovely cuppa and cake in Nottingham with the lovely Carol who was visiting from Wiltshire. Whilst it is a very long way to come for a cup of tea, I had such a nice natter that the whole day was over before I even knew it. Looking forward to the next one! Maybe maternity leave is all about coffee mornings and catch ups. I guess I’d better get my skates on and have a few more as I’m going to be back at work in a few weeks. Booooo (and yay at the same time, I know I’m a bit sad, but I do like going to work (most of the time!))

Today is my sister’s birthday – yippee!!! I don’t get to see my sister too often as she’s living in London and is often all over the place with her job as an Opera singer and visiting London with two little kids isn’t that easy.

Today I thought I’d join in with the challenge over at Less is More. The Less is More challenge was always one of my favourites and I used to join in most weeks. Here’s to hoping that if I can continue in the swing of blogging, I’ll be able to join in lots and lots and lots :-D
The theme for this week’s challenge is Mint and chocolate chip. So I've used some Crumb Cake ink and Early Espresso for the Chocolate Chip and Pistachio Pudding and Garden Green for the mint.

I do remember the summer where mint chocolate chip ice cream was my favourite and then by the end of the summer I decided that a really good vanilla is the best flavour, and some 20 years later I still think that. What’s your favourite flavour ice cream?

I hope you enjoy today’s card.

Woyww - time for the next chapter

After years of hardly any blogging, you've got two posts in one day!!

Well it's been a while since I took part in woyww. This little room has been the home of my Stampin' Up! Business and crafty escape for the last 2 years, but the time has come for me to sort out and pack up as the not so little Isaac has pretty much outgrown his moses basket so I'm being evicted from the little bedroom into the dining room.

Here's my current room and desk before the sorting and decluttering exercise begins. Check pack later in the week for progress and I will have to sell of some crafty stash too, so there will be some bargains for all of you lovely peeps here in blog land.

Here's to the next chapter and hopefully a new house/extension so I can have my child free zone back :-D

Don't forget to scroll down for my competition post!

Quickest Card Ever and a competition!

I'm forever in need of cards that are quick to make, but this has to be the quickest!

I just stamped the Russian or Matryoshka dolls on Sahara sand cardstock using my memento ink and Bob's your uncle!

Share some of your quick cards below and one of you will win a prize :-)

Happy Crafting!

Trust God with Blendabilities

Wow, I'm beginning to think that we're starting to find some kind of routine...! You know that that's the cue for me to have to go back to the day job :-( Hey ho, I've still got a few weeks left on maternity leave to try and get my house into some sort of order.

Today's card is using the oober fabulous Blendibobs and Bloom with Hope. Bloom with hope is one of the hostess sets from this year's annual catalogue and it was the first stamp set I had to have from this year's range. To qualify for hostess pounds you need to put through an order of over £150 in one transaction. You can do this on your own, as part of a party or group of orders or by joining one of my crafty stash clubs. If you'd like to know more about my stash clubs, drop me an e-mail so I can keep you updated with details of the next club launch.

There's still time to join me at my Blendabilities class on the 20th September. Use the paypal link on the blog post below to secure your place as I'll be ordering supplies on the 11th September...

By clicking the pictures below of the products used in today's card, you'll be taken directly to the item in my shop to make it even easier to order :-)

Happy crafting!
