Showcase your DSP

Hi di ho peeps!

I have a bit of a confession to make...I'm a hoarder of designer series paper...I buy it and stroke it and then hardly use it. It's just soooo pretty! I have similar hoarding tendancies with ribbon too although I'm certainly getting better at using my DSP, I have a long way to go...

I am so fortunate that Stampin' Up! make such beautiful papers, that you can let them do the hard work for you. So I'm challenging you all (including me) to showcase your DSP...here's a card from the Merry Mistletoe class to get you started...

Make sure you leave a comment with your links to your cards showcasing some DSP, I can't wait to see them!

Elf tags

Happy Friday!!! We made it - yippeee!!!!

Tomorrow is the food festival in Thame which has become one of our family traditions since moving here 2 years ago. The festival always used to be along the high street so it had a wonderful atmosphere. As with any good thing its grown so much that it's moving to the showground. I'm sure it'll still be good, lets just hope the magical atmosphere doesn't get left behind with the old buildings lining the high street.

Here's a photo of the festival in the high street courtesy of The Thatch, which is a lovely restaurant in Thame.

I feel truly blessed to live in such a wonderful place.

So today I'm sharing with you my elf tags that we made at the Merry Mistletoe class. As soon as I saw this stamp I had to have it as I immediately wanted to make these tags...the name of my blog didn't even come into consideration!

I've coloured them using my ink pads and blender pens. I think I may just have to add some glitter to these guys when I make a batch for my presents.

Time to get the weekend started. I hope you have something good lined up.

Merry Christmas

Gosh it's Wednesday! Over the hump and rolling down to the weekend now - woohoo!!!

I'm back with another card featuring the gorgous reindeer stamp in the Merry Mistletoe stamp set. I decided to break from the traditional red and green Christmas colours with this one. I was inspired by a card I saw on pinterest and as soon as I find it again, I'll come back to give the creator credit.

Tomorrow is the last day to book on my Painted Harvest class either in person or through stamps in the mail. I'm looking forward to seeing you all on the 5th October so that we can recreate Shannon's card below.
