Something old and something new

Happy Monday!

How did you enjoy the Malawi blog? We managed to pack so much in to such a short visit. Hopefully I'll get to go back again one day and explore a bit more. I have so many photos and I've started putting my album together, so no doubt I'll share some photos of that in due course.

Today I'm bringing a couple of cards to you which uses some stamps from the new catalogue, but using up some of my retired paper and cardstock.

I love this stamp set, I was fortunate enough to receive it at On Stage back in April and I'm so glad that the catalogue is live so that you can get one too!

It's March - how did that happen????

Well I think it must be said that I'm in shock. How exactly is it March already? It's Easter at the end of the month. Most of my Christmas makes never made it onto here. My post about the launch of SAB and the Spring Summer Catalogue is sitting in draft - shocking! I clearly am not finding a good work, work, life balance am I? I've been neglecting all of you lovely people and to be honest my crafting too. I bought some lovely new supplied in January and most of them are sitting looking at me waiting to see ink.

I had a Spring Summer Launch party at the end of January and so I do have some makes to share with you over the coming days and hopefully that'll get my crafty mojo going again.

First card on the blog for 2018 features a stamp from flying home. It's a great set for new home cards and spring, but I've made a baby card with this one and I've coloured using my stampin blends - yay for colouring with alcohol markers, my favourite!

Happy Saturday!

Today we've been back up to Nottingham to see the out-laws. We left home in glorious sunshine and two hours later we arrived having spent the majority of our car jouney in the pooring rain. Alas we had no coats and got rather wet just running from the car to the house. You do have to love the British weather. Needless to say my two boys had a lovely time with their grandparents and got to see great mama too. Now its back to reality and the prospect of a day of cleaning and tidying tomorrow. Oh to have a cleaner!

I have another card to share with you and it features, my favourite set of the catalogue - baby bear! He's so increadibly cute, I couldn't resist buying him straight away.
